Diem has started doing pre-production on a new CD. She is working with Bryant Didier and a lot of A List session players – for a sneak preview of one of the songs, “How many Times?” check out her Video page! It’s video # 3 and video #4 is a really hot version of “Where Are All the Children?”
Both songs were recorded at the Socialist May Day Celebration at the Free Times Café on Saturday, May 2nd.
Diem is lining up and hoping for some grant money to study vocals and guitar so she can kick it all up a few notches! She’s also seeking to do some co-writing with a few people – yet to be named. She’s also working on getting to Rome to study the repertoire of Gabriella Ferri – who many folks in the know say Diem reminds them of: revolutionary big voiced plain talking powerful woman!!!!

I want to thank everyone who has supported me on this journey – I got to Calgary and had a wonderful time – and made a lot of connections and new friends! Thank you all very much! The folks in Calgary were warm and loving and generous and just downright fine and wonderful! I can’t say enough. So I thank you all for helping me get there and the folks in Calgary for treating me so well! God bless you all!
I have had the honour of being nominated Aboriginal Songwriter of the Year by the Canadian Folk Music Awards! The awards are in Calgary.
My friend Nathan Prier has begun an Indiegogo campaign for me to raise the funds to get there.
I hope you can assist me – this is a big deal in anyone’s career.
Please be so kind as to pass this around and help me get there.
Peace and love, Diem
